Thank You

I commend everyone who has gone to a PatCom, or supported one financially or practically. A great effort can be made through such gatherings. I commend you all for your revolutionary spirit. Those who attended the Liberty Summit made a great impression on me. I am proud to count those willing to attend, to brave the possible retributions with vigor, as friends and associates.

Imperious Barons

There have been a few posts lately taking issue with the Constitution. AP points out that "as ratified" is a non-starter for him due to its lack of repudiation of slavery and other issues. Kerodin points out that the paper itself has no power.

Okay, but this leans back to a post I started yesterday, but didn't finish. There is no aspect to the Constitution that makes it magic. It has to be endorsed and supported by the people. This is why I have called the Constitution invalid, there are not the people to support it, most don't even know what's in it, even while they claim the protections of it.

Kerodin and AP are right, the Constitution is not a panacea for the ills of the nation. The point is to make the Marxists reveal that they hate the Constitution, let them destroy it. But, we will not re-write it, we don't even have the understanding of how to do it anymore. Those who wrote the Constitution had lived through tyranny and oppression unlike we have yet to know. They had foreign armies on the soil, committing atrocities to their families. I am not saying we won't get there, but we are not there, yet.

What they wrote, they wrote against themselves, knowing that there is no good government, only more restricted, more controlled government.

The value of the Constitution is simply that it makes those in power obvious hypocrites. It forces the enemies of it out into the open. It is justification for those who need it. It is a marker, nothing less. We cannot go back to it. Even if we could, it includes slavery, the lack of women's sufferage, etc. There are good things that have evolved from it, but through the appropriate amendment process.

What we have now is simply judicial fiefdoms. Imperious barons prosecuting their personal visions of social evolution. In the process they have convinced many of us that there is no justification needed for action. There is freedom and slavery, nothing else but degrees thereof.

While I harp on the Constitution, I know that most of my blathering is just for those who think there is some legitimate means of resistance. I don't think we need it. We do not need to justify our actions through the Constitution, but others might.

We cannot go back to it, but we can demand that the ideals that spawned it are alive and held within the hearts of those patriots of today, because the Constitution is nothing other than a declaration of the power of the people over their government, not the other way around. If one understands and believes that the individual is supreme, what else needs to be established?

TPTB have twisted ever word, every intent to serve themselves, yet the words remain, plain and in simple terms to anyone who cares to read it. We don't. Forget it, it doesn't matter, because we are determined to have liberty through whatever means secures it, or death. That is the original intent of the Constitution, to provide the legitimacy for those who need it and the rest, like us, we don't need it. We know we are not free and nothing else matters.

The imperious barons have thus far succeeded. We need to recognize that in order to move toward them, to take them to task for their treason. Once liberty is stolen from one, it becomes precedence and used to steal more from others. There is no end. What we suffer today, we will suffer ten-fold tomorrow. Or, they will.

We need to stiffen our backs, bow our necks and get down to the real deal. I am ready. Are you? It begins on Memorial Day. Spread your cards, put them on notice, prepare to engage. The fight will not be pretty, but freedom is not free. Engagement will be messy. Some of us will die and be imprisoned. It should be our honor to do so, to fight for freedom, to make it costly, to make it painful.

Let them know we are coming, then do not fail to arrive.

The Stench Will Find You

We are under attack. Is there any other way to say it? Free speech? Are you nuts? One might offend a liberal. One might notice that offending the religious, offending the Conservative, offending the patriot is, of course, allowed under rules that no one other than liberals understand. It allows them to hate people for using "hate speech" which might be only mildly offensive.

This is the world we stand to pass down to our children. Do you understand the implications of that? It is the utter destruction of ourselves. It is the polite suicide of self. I know there are wealthy individuals, owners of corporations, who visit this blog. Are you sincerely willing to watch the destruction of not only your nation, but yourselves? They are priming your children with the rot that allows this injustice of judgement without a fight, so that your capitalistic nature dies and all is left is LEFT?

Capitalism is not the death of humanity, as they have claimed, it is the start of it. Without capitalism there is no engine to the ship of compassion. It doesn't matter if the wealthy themselves are without compassion, or fully immersed in it, they must hire people to do their business from among the masses and those are good, decent people who believe in compassion and charity, not forced charity, not governmental confiscation and distribution, but honest charity, the sort that comes from a Christian or generally decent concept of doing the right thing.

The entire power structure, i.e. Hollywood, news, sports, educators and even capitalists themselves are decidedly anti-capitalistic. I suppose once one has achieved great wealth it is their prerogative to simply ignore all of the principles that enabled that wealth so that they are invited to Hollywood parties and allowed to hob nob with the socially influential, but once they have allowed the socialists the voice, it will be used to hang them from the lamp posts in Hollywood and if one were to doubt this possibility, consider the evil rhetoric used by the Left against Sarah Palin, a woman who did nothing but validate feminism. Is there one thing the Left has refused to do, anything that might suggest they are less than the average German Auschwitz guard?

This is the backward world the Left, the Marxists, the collectivists offer us. This is the insane hypocrisy which they promote in open and idiotic ways every day. To enable that is a crime, it is a treason to those very principles which brought America from a backward, backwoods group of rebellious colonies into the light as the greatest power in the world, more compassionate, more giving, more dedicated to the needy, largely through the influence of Christianity, than any other nation in the world.

To give that away to simply turn one's back on those principles is a greater injustice than that which will befall the rich if the new regime succeeds. I pity thee, for I will have no pity when the time comes and they surely will not. You sir/madam are the dessert as the final course in this feast of conflict. Yes, the things which have brought you success in the previous system will be of value, but not from you, on both accounts you will be the lesson to the rest, one as an exploiter and the other as a traitor.

Conservatism is under attack, whether wealthy, or happily middle-class, anyone in violation of their (the Marxists) dogma is a criminal, not just a bad person or one of little conscience, but a criminal deserving of a camp, deserving of punishment and who will be meting out that punishment? TSA agents, IRS agents, DMV employees, those who are practiced in the heartlessness and imcompassionate enforcement of arcane and moronic regulations, regulations that empower the state over the individual. Nothing could be less American, less capitalistic, less compassionate.

Go your way, try your manipulations on those sorts of people. I will fight, I will stand for principles, not because I seek the destruction of self, but because it is my mess and I intend to clean it up. While you might give over the nation to those insane and despotic individuals lacking in compassion and consideration for any other than themselves, I will not.

Charity is worth fighting for, decency is worth the risk. Without it how are we, this nation, any different than Stalin's regime? We are not, sadly we have followed the narrative, allowed ourselves to be bullied into compliance and meekness. It is time to rise up, to use every weapon at one's disposal to fight this beast, to deny the most even plan they have for this nation.

Hide if you want, the stench will find you.

Bank Of America Abuses

Our actions to restore our nation to its original founding principles are coming to a crossroads. We have been divided in our efforts through an inability to focus upon one issue as a whole. Most of our efforts have been (and still are) focused on the 2012 elections and political ideologies. Our nation was founded on Liberty, not political power and agendas. We need a tangible goal now to show that patriots (not partisans) still control our destiny. One goal, one victory will show that We the People are in control of Liberty’s future.

We believe that the recent events surrounding the Bank of America can become this goal to win our first battle. This institution has decided that the 2nd amendment of the Constitution of the United States is not in line with their bank’s code of ethics. We understand that this amendment’s purpose was to protect us from an abusive government. It appears that they feel it may be used to protect us from abusive financial institutions as well. And they may be correct:  the distinction between government and financial institutions in our country is gone.

The Bank of America is the country’s largest bank with assets of $2.3 trillion. This bank currently has $75 trillion in credit derivatives.

Here is a list of additional grievances:

This financial institution has been found guilty of laundering South American drug money in 2006 ($7.5 million settlement).
They received $20 billion in US Treasury support with an additional $118 billion government backstop to buy Merrill Lynch.
They failed to properly disclose employee bonuses and financial losses at Merrill Lynch before shareholders approved the merger of the companies: $150 million settlement with the SEC.
Bank of America Illegally Foreclosed on Active Service Members’ Homes. Settlement agreement was $20 million.
Their purchase of Countrywide resulted in a loss of $65 billion to stockholders.
They paid $335 million to settle Countrywide’s housing discrimination claims.
They paid $410 million to settle a class-action lawsuit affecting more than 13 million Bank of America customers who accused the bank of charging excessive overdraft fees for electronic transactions.
 Bank of America moved approximately$18 trillion worth of derivative obligations from Merrill Lynch and the BAC holding company to the FDIC insured retail deposit division. This transfers the risk from the bank to the taxpayers since the FDIC cannot cover this amount.
Their executives are major donors to the president’s reelection campaign.
The president will give his acceptance speech for the Democrat nomination for president at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
Warren Buffett injected $5 billion into Bank of America for special considerations for stock warrants and a 6% annual return for ten years. This bank's regular personal savings account pays 0.05% annually.
We propose the following actions to be taken immediately:
  1. Close out any personal or business accounts with Bank of America.
  2. If you are a business, do not accept their debit or credit cards for purchases.
  3. Sell your personal stock in this bank.
  4. If your retirement or mutual fund owns stock in this bank, request that they divest it from their portfolios.
  5. Help spread this effort in any manner that you can.
  6. Fill out the form at this link showing what actions you took based on this project.
No institution has maligned the principles and morality of our nation as the misnamed Bank of America. It is past time to stand up with actions instead of words.

The Dreams Of Their Fathers

In working through my decision to support Kerodin's Liberty Congress, I had to come to some hard conclusions, the same I hope the readers will understand and consider when making their decisions as each will have to make their own and stand by it, come what may.

There is no escaping this conflict. There is no doubt (by what I have seen and what I have read) that the Marxists mean to have it, no matter what we do. Whether we stand in the doorway to our own home, or we stand on the streets of DC, they will come.

The hardest part is trying to figure out why Americans would be involved in the other side to this radical degree. Had they not had forebears who fought the same wars as ours, who enjoyed the peace as ours had? Had they not watched the same moments in history unfold: landing on the moon; Superbowls; the 1980 Olympic hockey team; the development of the internet? Didn't those moments (choose any of your own) cement us as a nation in the last century? Hadn't we put the other centuries aside?

Yes, they had, but there was always a thread running through them that spoke to a different inner instinct: injustice. Real or imagined, it is there, festering and with the OWS group it is bolstered by a sense of righteousness and superiority. Whether that injustice, real or imagined, is brokered by racial or economic realities, it burns like a hot iron and vengeance is the only salve.

They are being encouraged and marshalled by hardcore Marxists with the power of the federal government at their disposal.

For many of you this is old news and repetitive, but bear with me as it is an evolution in thought many others must arrive at and quickly.

The reason the conflict cannot be avoided is rooted in the spoiled, demanding nature developed since the 1960's. The ME generation. The need for instant gratification. The powerful rich who have hated this nation forever are growing old and they won't be able to see their dream if put off another decade.

Very simply the old hippies and union thugs, those worshippers of the collective, combined with the aboslute desire for vengeance among the marginalized classes spells one thing: there is no better time when they will have as much power and sense of empowerment as they have prior to the election, when the chief Marxist still commands the DOJ and the military. This is why it works on so many levels.

If the dreams of their fathers is ever to come true it has to come true now, this summer, when there is plenty of unemployed, spoiled brat, indoctrinated reinforcements with a sense of righteousness to draw from.

This is why I signed on to the Congress, but feel it will come too late.

And A Soldier Dies

When it comes to Kerodin's Convention in DC, I am in.

From the first day they passed the seat belt law in Colorado, 1986, or thereabouts, I knew it would come to this. I chaffed at the first sign of a government obsessed with my safety and knew that one day it would grow to the point that something would have to be done about it. It never stops at common sense, once they snare you in the trap of considering it a good law, you are all but done.

There are no good laws that protect oneself from one's own decisions, even though there are stiff consequences for failure to follow common sense, it is the law that makes it tyranny. It is not for the government to decide what is or is not a good decision. They are simply there to make the sewers run. Now, they do everything in the world for us, but that.

There is good in all evil, or it would not work. When they stop you at a DUI checkpoint, they have seized you and searched you without cause, without sworn testimony as is required by the Fourth Amendment. Is it good that they get DUI offenders off the road? Sure, but at the cost of providing a precedent that the Fourth Amendment is invalid? Is it good that the Fourth Amendment is invalid? Answer that one after they have ransacked your home, torn apart your bedding, sifted through your computer, looked through your sock drawer, found any number of personal and perhaps humiliating things that are not illegal, but make you cringe at any rate. What they know as a result is that you have hemorrhoids, or take medicine for a nervous condition, or dye your hair, or whatever else is none of any one's business, but they know it and they shouldn't. And, they didn't even need a warrant, because you are not being charged with anything, it was just a suspicion, un-sworn, unattested to, but they had a feeling you might be doing something wrong based on some of the things you wrote on a blog or on Facebook. Tsk tsk tsk.

And, if you are a cow who has obediently walked the path to the trough and back to the pasture, have no fear, you are their kind of cow.

We all have comfortable lives that could go on without the "in your face actions" that the conference proposes. I have a good job now that pays a considerable sum, though I still face debts and obligations from my failed business. But, I feel no great need to go out and make myself anymore of a target than I already have by writing this blog. Except that they will not quit, they will not cease and they will not desist in demanding more and more and more. Were they responsible and generally ethical about the way they have done business before, I might give those in government the benefit of the doubt, but they have not.

They have literally stolen billions of dollars from the poor sots who foolishly believed in paying taxes, in investing in 401ks, in having IRAs to bolster the fraud of Social Security and they literally gave it to banksters to keep them from going out of business. They gave it to car makers to keep them from going out of business and when they say they have repaid it, they have not. Trust me, I looked into it, they have not. What they did is a little bit of creative bookkeeping. They gave GM to the union workers, but those workers did not repay the losses. They did not give me money to stay in business and when they took my taxes, they did not say that they would do with them what they did, they claimed that those taxes would go to the vital needs of the nation. They did not.

Once a government begins to extort from you your hard-earned money it is one thing, it is what we call "civilized government" but when they do nothing with your funds but give it to people who will contribute to their campaign, we call it theft. Sorry, no better words for it. When all of those banks and brokerage firms needed money, the government gave it to them, straight from our pockets to theirs. And now, those same firms can't wait to return the favor out of corporate "profits" which mean your distribution will be an involuntary campaign contribution. So when they hide behind the seal of the United States Government, they find not that they have increased their status by the seal, they have only cheapened the seal to one of the average street con and it means nothing.

When they stand behind the Constitution as their authority, having violated every precept of it, they have not increased their status, they have cheapened the Constitution to mean nothing. A  burglar with a badge is no less a burglar.

I have been criticized for relying on the Constitution as some form of protection from all of this, let me reveal now that I do not. What I write is to encourage others that there is legitimacy for their actions, but I know the Constitution is mere garbage in the eyes of the powermongers in government, and if it is not grand in their eyes, nothing else matters. If the Constitution is not the most revered document ever to be drafted by Man, in their eyes, it is all a bloodbath waiting to happen, and it is not, so it will.

I have been criticized for not doing more preparations. Well, there isn't a lot of prep to do when survival is not the issue. Death is the issue and how it is done. There are letters to write to my children, to my wife, to my mother and brother, those are my preps. What is done after I am gone cannot be scripted, except to have my people where others can protect them. I won't be there.

This is not a liberty game.

I have been criticized for not taking the Liberty Summit and making it a platform from which I could pursue greater power in the Patriot community, for not organizing a permanent organization, for not looking ahead to some great role in this struggle.

I am a soldier and a soldier dies so that others will fight.

I have no delusions. My time is marked. I know the end is near. It doesn't matter whether it comes as a result of the Convention, which I really think will be too late. It doesn't matter if it comes when I see others being victimized by a band I cannot hope to vanquish as a result of either racial tensions or economic collapse. It does not matter if it comes defending my AO, it does not will come. I am just that sort.

I will say this, I did not serve in combat. I was in the Air Force at a time of relative peace. I recognize that it was this time that I was saved for. And, I say that with no great sense of sacrifice or honor, it is just a fact.

I am in the oil field, on the front lines of a dangerous occupation. I have seen a hundred stupid ways to die. I have had friends who worked in the oil field for several years and die stupidly on "days off". People get killed all the time doing the most mundane and foolish things, every day...every day. So, when given the opportunity to die for my country, to die in the effort to set things right, to die in an effort to spare someone else...I have seen a million useless deaths, let me have mine this way, for this purpose.

To those who might think me courageous, courage is built in a strong family. Build a strong family and march to the sound of the drum.

Intelligence Is No Defense Against Absurdity

Constitutional scholars do not impress me. I have listened to any number of them, including Representative Trey Gowdy, who recently ripped Kathleen Sebelius over the Obamacare issue. Okay, that was good and I enjoyed this video of the confrontation. Refreshing as it was, and instructive on the absolute ignorance of the Constitution and the Supreme Court and any measure of weighing Constitutionality against a bill put before congress that the Obama Administration has, even at the highest levels, it still smacked of exactly what is wrong with the Supreme Court and its role in determining Constitutionality.

Here is the relevance: the Supreme Court is not given judicial review in the Constitution, it has assumed that through the case of Marbury v Madison. In order for it to gain power, the Supreme Court ruled in its own favor for powers that it did not possess. In order to answer the question of "what role does the Supreme Court play?" it chose to play the role where it interprets the Constitution, that is not its role, but it does put a good deal of power in the hands of the justices. Its role is simply to apply the Constitution to the laws passed throughout the land at every level. It has the role of ultimate appeal. Should a law infringe on the rights we have as human beings and supposedly safeguarded by the Constitution, there is a stopping point for the case, an ultimate decision can be had, rather than making loop after loop at the local level, where the case may not see the light of day.

Marbury v Madison is a simple case, one which would do for the ultimate power play in American politics. Marbury simply asked for the appointment made by the president, reviewed and consented to by the senate, to be given the commission to take his office as a Justice of the Peace in Washington, DC. Madison, then Secretary of State, refused to issue the commission, letting it lie on his desk, as if it had never been acted upon. Marbury simply sought for the commission to be delivered to him so that he could take his office.

In the opinion written by Chief Justice John Marshall there is this little paragraph:

It is emphatically the province and duty of the Judicial Department to say what the law is. Those who apply the rule to particular cases must, of necessity, expound and interpret that rule. If two laws conflict with each other, the Courts must decide on the operation of each.

which seems to give the Supreme Court the right to say what the law is. The Supreme Court gave itself, through the decision of this simple case, the right to say what the law is. The Constitution did not. Interestingly enough, if one reads the decision further a few other points are made in context and it appears far from allowing the Supreme Court to arbitrarily decide what is and is not Constitutional, it shows that what is unconstitutional is not law.

So, if a law be in opposition to the Constitution, if both the law and the Constitution apply to a particular case, so that the Court must either decide that case conformably to the law, disregarding the Constitution, or conformably to the Constitution, disregarding the law, the Court must determine which of these conflicting rules governs the case. This is of the very essence of judicial duty.

If, then, the Courts are to regard the Constitution, and the Constitution is superior to any ordinary act of the Legislature, the Constitution, and not such ordinary act, must govern the case to which they both apply.

Simply put, any law passed by congress must be Constitutional or it is not law. Now, over a few hundred years the laws and judicial review have stepped into make sure that the Supreme Court has the ability to say what the law is, disregarding, or defining the individual rights out of the equation where the state finds some arbitrary role in making the law. 

That a case might be brought against the Second Amendment and the state finds some value in ignoring the Second Amendment all that need to be argued is the definition of Militia, or of the People, or of what constitutes Arms, and on and on it goes right down to where one might argue against the Amendment in its entirety by defining each word to its broadest extent. The state wanted the right to infringe what it is prescribed by the Constitution as something it "must not infringe" and the race to define the right out of existence began. 

So when Constitutional scholars begin their rap which begins invariably by citing every useless usurpation of power of the individual ever upheld by any jurisdiction whatsoever, I remain unimpressed. When these scholars begin with the absolutes which are written down emphatically by our founders for us to read and to know as inviolable, I will listen.

When I make the claim that this government is corrupt, it is just this corruption of language that I am speaking of. It is the cooperation between states and the Supreme Court to manipulate language and change definitions to suit their combined purposes of swaying, through the judiciary, the power from the individual and toward the state that I am speaking of. As an individual facing criminal court charges for my actions I am dependent solely on those protections which I am cognizant of only by the words written in the formation of this government. I rely on those words being true throughout history, regardless of political considerations of the officers then seated. If I am not...well Marshall said it himself:

Between these alternatives there is no middle ground. The Constitution is either a superior, paramount law, unchangeable by ordinary means, or it is on a level with ordinary legislative acts, and, like other acts, is alterable when the legislature shall please to alter it.

If the former part of the alternative be true, then a legislative act contrary to the Constitution is not law; if the latter part be true, then written Constitutions are absurd attempts on the part of the people to limit a power in its own nature illimitable.

I do not take the Constitution lightly, nor will I abide by any government agency that does. Where the Constitution has not been changed through the amendment process it remains in effect as the day it was written. Re-writing the Constitution based on case law and definition is illegitimate where a normal definition of the words stand clearly understandable by the average citizen. Present any of the Amendments along with state laws to the contrary to the average person and they will not understand how one could exist alongside the other. That alone demonstrates the illegitimacy and corruption of the language and the intent.

The Beast Reveals Its Blackened Soul

I don't usually address the individual nature of the public servant as that is not a monolithic thing, but rather a spectrum of individuals who work in government. Many might have found themselves once brought into the fold during war, or enlistment, and realized after their hitch was up that it was an easy transition from military service to public service. It might be nothing more complicated than that.

Others saw their duty as police officers a long time ago, before hundreds of judicial rulings turned them into a quasi standing army for the collectivists, but they are so close to retirement that rather than fight the beast, they have found an uncomfortable peace with it. Or, they might have been lawyers determined to put the bad guys in prison and joined the government as a county, state or federal attorney. It may not have been their preference that the Supreme Court had ruled the way it had, or that laws they disagreed with were put into place and it became their duty to prosecute those laws. Again, as time went on the beast might have snuck up on them and now it seems futile and even disastrous to fight it. (I would suggest as a side note that it is time to own up and stand up)

It is for these reasons and perhaps a million other scenarios one might entertain that I find it hard to go after the individual in government, though I have before. It is a fact that our governments perform a lot of functions in society, some that are not constitutional, some that are exactly constitutional. So, what part of their duties do I take exception to, exactly? 10%? 30%? You see, it is hard to determine exactly that part of their employment with which I disagree.

My rhetoric, therefore, reflects the understanding that not everyone in government is bad, or collectivist, or even liberal. So, I use the term "government" to mean the things that as a whole the government does that is wrong and unconstitutional.

And then, just when I come to this reasoned and perhaps generous conclusion about the people in government and their somewhat trapped, unintended role in its greater abuses, I am met with the sort of vermin that have brought about the opposite conclusion, that they are all traitorous wretches with nothing but the club to raise and threaten all of us un-connected, un-protected slobs who only exist to feed the beast its due rations of blood and bone.

I will not repeat the profanity used against us all as readers and bloggers when I point the reader to the comment section of the previous post, let the government jackal speak for him/herself in all the glory that is due to this particular type of cretin. The names he/she lists as his/her personal goon squad are the names of US Attorneys and the like. I refer to the commenter as he/she as I cannot determine gender based on the Anonymous comment, because the accuser, the bully, the Marxist who stopped by to comment did so anonymously, unlike myself who puts his name to everything he writes. Who stands willing to accept the punishments this commenter, this government goon, would heap upon me for the words I have to say and the authority I cite.

Let me repeat so that my intent is clear and open to all whom might read these pages. This government is corrupt, it is without consent of the governed, it is bankrupt, it has stolen the riches of the people and dumped it on banksters and unions and government workers. It is far beyond its authority and there is a reckoning coming and if I am the first to be hoisted on the spears of these Marxists, I will gladly wear the badge affixed to my breast with their crooked knives.

Come and get me, make an example of me, breed a thousand others like me with your persecution. I am unafraid.

Their Work Will Never Be Done

Today the world is different. Our nation is different. As Americans we are being pulled in different directions, called on by society to remain silent and acquiescent to the great ramrod of collectivism, or asked to risk everything for principles and ideals that are at the heart of Americanism, but no longer supported by our government(s). Indeed, to demand that the government recognize and operate under these very ideals upon which it is based is considered a threat.

If you believe, if you sing the song of patriotism, if you belong to a Tea Party, or 912, or American Legion for heaven's sake, you must side with one or the other. The time is now. And yes, I do recognize that your life is substantially unchanged from a decade ago, that it is easy to see how one might get through the Obama Administration and work to reverse some of the greatest abuses, but will the TSA come to an end? No. Will the IRS stop their abusive, arrogant treatment of the citizen? No. Will EPA, USDA stop the endless assault on the engines of prosperity? No. These are functions of an oppressive government, of tyranny and their work will never be done.

The monstrous DHS has only begun to collect, evaluate and act on information it is gathering right now. If these actions were being done to the Jewish community, the Islamic community, the Gay community there would be outrage, yet when done to the patriotic community, those willing to risk everything they have in the pursuit of Constitutional government, legal government, ratified government it goes on apace without outrage, with sympathizers cowering in fear of what? Of their government. Is that American? Is that what our children have died for over the centuries? They have died in vain, it seems, for we have given up the price they paid for our freedom without a ruckus, without a whimper.

We know how the government treats patriots, those who would question their authority and it is always with brutality, with hammering down those who rise up against their abuses. The patriot community does not rise up against taxation, written into the Constitution; it does not rise up against traffic laws against speeding, red lights or yielding to emergency vehicles; it does not rise up against sweeping streets, or sewer repairs, or plowing snow. While we might argue that these services could be done better another way, with resources and ways unaffiliated with the government, that is a rational argument to be hashed out within the confines of our civic duty.

No, the Patriot Community rises up against those serious abuses inflicted upon the citizens of the nation of every color, every religion, every ethic background because they are abuses unto us all. They are abuses against the First Amendment of speech and press and religion and the right to peacefully assemble, of the Second Amendment ensuring that the people are never disarmed should a radical and abusive government take control of the nation, of the Fourth Amendment which guarantees that every citizen will not be detained, searched and randomly harassed without cause and sworn evidence against them, of the Fifth Amendment which guarantees that we will not be forced to give evidence against ourselves, or be put in jeopardy of life, liberty or property without due process of law, of the Sixth Amendment that guarantees that we have the right to confront our accusers, to a speedy and public trial, to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation, of the Eight Amendment against cruel and unusual punishments, of the Ninth Amendment which speaks for itself when it states: The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.; of the Tenth Amendment that guarantees that our states shall enjoy the right to act independently of the federal government and to make all laws that do not conflict with those given to the federal government under the agreement of the Constitution.

Every one of these rights are under direct assault by the very existence of the Department of Homeland Security, that they have taken an act described to the people as being necessary to their safety and turned it primarily against the citizenry at large. It is what allows a TSA agent to grope and fondle without recourse, without the protections of the Fourth Amendment. The IRS violates almost every single amendment in one way or the other, demanding without recourse money it arbitrarily decides it is owed, openly admitting that the numbers arrived at are made up, assumed and subsequently demanded from one's bank without warning, without due process.

It is not the street sweeper that has drawn the ire of the Patriot Community, but the outright abuses of so many rights on such a large scale that one cannot avoid the conflict and remain faithful to the ideals of the Constitution. One must either forfeit their belief in the system that has brought us peace and prosperity for centuries, or stand up and fight for them.

We have asked, we have begged, we have voted to reverse this tyranny to no avail. The upcoming election will do nothing other than change figureheads at the top, the bureaucracy will not change, the abuses will not lessen, the inevitable bankruptcy will not be avoided under any congressional leadership that remains faithful to the system as it now functions. It is this understanding that has driven the movement and must sustain it through the dark times to come.

When a government has become so destructive of everything it has been established to protect and defend, it has become an enemy to itself and must be opposed and exposed for what it is, no matter how it transformed, under what auspices it used to make that transformation, it must be recognized for what it is and altered, or abolished.

We can say that it is no one's fault, that human nature dictated the outcome, that it was inevitable that all forms of government end in tyranny. Okay, but that does not change the outcome, or diminish the cruel practices of the government today. That belief should only encourage those who have not yet acted, to act.

PatCom(n)s are action against tyranny. They are the first steps toward outright confrontation with those jealous of our rights, who trample and discard them. PatCom(n)s should enjoy the overwhelming support of every American who desires a rectification of the federal and state governments who now act in concert, a law passed by one is duplicated by another under duress and threat. What cannot be done through the Tenth Amendment is by-passed through coercion among these governments and the citizen is betrayed twice and left to curse and nothing else is allowed, or tolerated.

If you consider yourself patriotic, a believer in the Constitution and its defense, but are afraid to step out and make a stand, afraid of your government and what it can do to you, I suggest you at least support these groups who have accepted the risk, made that great step toward liberty regardless of personal cost or imprisonment. Give them the support they need to sustain themselves through the tribulations, for God's sake at least make an anonymous donation to those willing to do the hard and dangerous work of going to battle with the forces of oppression.
