Charles G. Koch (finally some sanity)

H/T to Arctic Patriot for bringing my attention to this excellent article. After seeing the name Koch splattered all over the signs at every union party given over the past week, it is interesting to see the common sense and straight-forward approach to the issues Mr. Koch brings.

I am glad that he had the desire to speak his mind and to let the rest of us know who it is that we have been defending in verbal fisticuffs with these union thugs. It is clear to me that they know less than they appear and that is quite a chore.

Anyway, read this and recognize the civility that should be brought to the issue of the public debt. If only more of our capitalist friends in the captain's seats of business would do the same.

The Article.

Holy hell, I already got a visit from the George Soros cabal. It happens every time I write about Soros, but now I guess it happens when I write about Koch. They present themselves as people just looking to write a guest post. Deception is all these people know.

  1. Thanks for getting the word out.

The only time you ever hear the Koch name is when it's being drug through the mud.

After reading the article, the why of the left's hatred of the Kochs becomes clear.

  3. I would suggest you review some history of the Koch brothers on Lewrockwell.com, at least to broaden your perspective of who the brothers are. Type in Koch, Koch brothers, or "kochtopus" at LRC homepage.

The Koch brothers are billionaires; the power behind Cato institute, oppose Lew Rockwell and Murray Rothbard, and supported Rand Paul's republican opponent in the primary in KY, Trey Greyson. They are opponents of the end the fed movement, and oppose the gold standard, to name a few of their differences with more ideologically pure libertarians. FYI

  4. I'll chime in on the "wonderful" Kochs as well. They have a large refinery complex here in Corpus Christi. And they got in hot water a few years back for their lax environmental practices. There was a big to do in the local mullet wrapper some years ago, and they quickly changed their name to "Flint Hills Resources" in what turned out to be a successful PR campaign, given the short attention span of your average moron. So the Kochs are not some rosey saints, they're just riding whatever bandwagon they think might preserve their billions...
